You Can't Read the Recipe for a Cake, Don't You?

Dale Carson: Cheryl is a most remarkable person. She pointed out early on that that white car nobody had called police to say it was theirs. Just because you can read the recipe for a cake doesn't mean you can bake one, she said. And that's certainly true with this guy. He may have had all that information from all these sources, but he'd never made a cake. That's what allowed him as Cheryl pointed out to get caught ultimately. But when they're not a, you know, real criminal, they don't have that type of mind to get away with things. They make these mistakes. And this is what I see in my cell.
