This is just, it's a contemporary ance with this like, wrapper, right? And i think we are seeing fewer and fewer of these communities in certain kinds of contemporary romance right now. I was thinking about it too, with this book, and i was coming at it from a kind of a different perspective. The main characters have were always comprised of friends and people, like, in their work, around their age. And there was like almost zero family. It's just like an interesting kind of dynamic to me. There was, in a weird way, this was like, another way in which this felt kind of like old school wther, thereare no parents, no parents
