Is There a Selection Bias?

A process called normalization can be used to counteract accidental selection bias. For example, if you have twice the representation of females as males in your data, it's a good idea to weight each group appropriately. Another example might be if you wanted something that was more reflective of the census population of a particular city. "I would love to learn more about normalizing data," says host John Sutter.
