The Implications of Software-Driven Cars
A major part of the opportunity is assisted driving and automated driving eventually. We expect that about three quarters of all the value of software in the future will come from assisted driving and autonomous driving capabilities. To make that safe, the expectation is that it needs to be at least 10 times 200 times better than a human is. That means in practical terms that you cannot have more than one fatality, but 100 million miles driven.
