The Problem With the Curriculum in Science Education
I felt like I was spending most of the school year learning on photosynthesis, and it wasn't particularly interesting. Do you feel that we should spend more time doing stuff like how the brain works and the service system? Robert: It would be very interesting for the curriculum to consider what the 10 great puzzles facing science are at the moment. Ben Mann: We need to find ways of really tackling the real issues in the curriculum - which we don't do very well.
