The Importance of Equity in a Company

The importance of equity is to really view as what is the total ownership that you're going to have within the company. What about a focus on diversity? Has it been much walk, much action in this current environment? I'm working on an executive search right now. It's a CMO search in one of our portfolio companies and the candidates are 60% women, 40% men or underrepresented minorities.
