The Importance of Negative Thinking

When you've been in a situation long enough, the negative thing so embedded into your mind that you can no longer see anything but that. The first picture I saw in the passage was Gideon sifting. God is calling you up out of that. We're almost to verse 14. I believe we can get there by six o'clock if you pay attention. But God says to Gideon, your mighty warrior, he identifies him by something that he sees which made me wonder, is Gideon the only one who is sifting in this passage? Or is God sifting too?
