In the in the 80s, he got hired by a big tech company to just do data entry and they said, well, we'd like you doing this really well. And so they asked me if I could take it home and do it from home. That's what the iPhone felt like to him: Like my phone was a dumb terminal. You're just providing an input and it's supposed to do something on the back end and provide the output back to you. When it didn't do that, how, where did it start? Where's the issue? Yeah.
