I think what you're implying is that if you accept the validity of the perverted faculty argument, that for something to be good or bad, you have to make a case. But I was using that to illustrate my more general point about obligation and what I understand your point. You could, in theory, understand that negative moral obligations are in fact, do require you to not to do certain things because they are inhibitive of your happiness. It also doesn't mean that every time you think about human action, you actually have to think about happiness. We've just gone from ethics to meta-ethics. Now I need to ask what good and evil are.
