Is Scarcity Atonement Detrimental in Relationships?
Sally Kohn: Scarcity atonement is a by product of toxic gamy culture. It's the idea that if your partner isn't spending 100% of their time and energy on you, then it's not enough. She says this can encourage hoarding behaviour or hyper boundaried behavior. And so she suggests asking yourself questions about how attunement could be helpful in certain situations.
