CNN's John Defterios sat down for an interview with Osama bin Laden. The former al-Qaeda leader was captured by the U.S. in December 2001 and held captive until January 2002. He has been released from prison after serving a sentence of 15 years, but is still wanted on charges related to his alleged role in Bin Laden's death. In addition to being accused of masterminding one of the most deadly terror attacks against America since 9/11, Al Qaeda also killed more than 3,000 people during their time in Afghanistan. A key question that remains: What were we thinking when we launched this war?
