Hillary Clinton got this exactly right when she said abortion should be safe, rare and legal. History shows that if you ban abortion, the number of abortions does not go down. It just changes the number of people who die from it. In states like Alabama that have refused to expand Medicaid, women will be forced to carry babies to term. They won't have access to prenatal care or early childhood education. If a society was truly pro life, then you would do everything that you could to enhance the life of these babies that will be born.
