Figma gives its design software free of charge to students. The company also invests heavily in their community, like paying designer advocates on a full-time salary. figma collects a ton of feedback from users as well because they comment on these posts saying, hey, can you do this? And when's this feature coming out, which they can then use to inform product design is brilliant.
