The Reform of the Israeli Judiciary
The government is trying to change the ways that judges are being selected. The selection process is now governed by a community with the government, but also the parliament members of the bar and members of the judiciary have some votes in it. And the government's plan is to replace that community with the community governance by politicians only. I fear there is like something that we saw similarly happen during the Trump years, that the courts are being filled with government supporters.
