The Importance of Talent in Art
When you see a chunk of marble that's turned into a magnificent sculpture, the talent, the skill, the work, the hard work. And then compare that to the nonchalance of the modern artist, splashing paint on a canvas and just, it's just the ease of it. How can it be great if there's no there, if no skill needed to be done in order to do it? If no, you know, if it was easy to design a microchip, we wouldn't be excited about engineering. It can't be that stuff just happens like that, just splashing. Or just, okay, I'll just make this into a round thing. All right
