How Long Does It Take to Make an Offer?

From the time that I tell an agent I love this and I'm going to bring it to my my meeting it could really be anywhere from a few days to a couple of weeks. A lot of times authors take silence for a negative when sometimes it really is that the editors just have been swamped and haven't gotten a chance. Sometimes it's a sign of a positive because they're pre-ending. For me I don't have any hand-ups about that process because I'm a very staunch believer in a comfortable and happy writer is going to result in the best book.
