Marvin used his welding talents to land a mechanic job at scotty's mufflers,. A former alcoholic who cleaned up his act and was looking for a job. After being honorably discharged from the air force he decided to buy a home in denver. And eventually he found a nice, pretty cheap property in the mountains with great views.
