How Did You Design the Sets for Mank?
The biggest challenge was just trying to find some neutrals that worked, you know. We sort of realized that certain colours, like greens and pinks and mustards were very good at reflecting nice, rich black and white gray tones. But you can't paint the sets to look like a clown house, you know what i mean? It's likey. You want the sets to feel real. So we found an area within the the spectrum of colors, of neutral colors, that worked really well. And we started to just rely upon that. I would think that certain colors, if you're seeing it in othey separate because they're different colors but there maybe their tones are too similar
