Multiple Realisability in the Cognitive Sciences
I think that multiple realizability seems appropriate in the cognitive sciences because we think that thinking is computation. And computer programs can be realized in all kinds of different matter and still be the same program. I've been influenced a lot by my colleague Tom Poulcher, he's in his book with literary Shapiro called the multiple realization book. So, you know, twisty and then pull the arms down corkscrew,. implements a corkscrew, realizes a corksCrew, as does just a twisty thing with on handle, right?
