Gimbal vs Hand Held?

A gimbal's job is to capture smooth camera movement, nice smooth study. You may or may not need one and it depends again on what you're shooting. If you don't have a phone with great image stabilization, this is where a gimbal might come in useful. A gimbal does make it a bit more comfortable to shoot. It's a little less worried about dropping your phone when you use a gim bal.
