Polarization between red and blue in terms of politics is a very important thing it's the thing that makes the front page of these newspapers but for Christians we have to understand there is far more to it than politics. We are talking just to consider the issue of abortion alone we are talking about a matter of life and death. If you're a baby in the womb the likelihood that you would be aborted in the womb is far greater in some states than in just a state across the state line similarly look at issues like so-called transgender treatments for children and teenagers you could have a divergence that could be a matter of grave consequence depending on which side of the state border you live or your family
