When we go to sleep at night, we drop our body temperatures maybe a degree or two. But after that the differences are quite extreme. There's no eating during hibernation. They don't get to take in mextra wateror food when they're in this torpor state. And things are really slow. But the animal could actually run low on nitrogen. Where is it going? And why is it a bad thing for that to happen?
