Were God's People to Live in Exile?

Every fall, we take the four weeks before our old testament series to reflect on our mission and vision. We're gin to do it by reflecting on the same passage, jeremiah 29, verses one through 14. Jeremiah 29 is not only influential to us, but it's influential in the bible. The idea of ex helps instruct us that when we are in exile, there are all types of trials, temptations and traps all around us. So itd be good for us to reflect what is our temptation? Do you seek to dominate? Do you seeking to withdraw? Do you seeks to assimilate? In other words, do you seek to become like the world around you?
