How to Avoid the Big Publishers

I've not done the self published route yet. I know guys like you and James Altuscher have talked about it. It's interesting that we just do whatever we want to do. If you have to desire to do something, you go do it. If you don't, you don't. A big publisher equals drama. They're all drama queens. And ultimately, a lot of these editors are basically competing with their authors. The edge they provide becomes less and less every year as technology advances.
