We Need to Start Talking About the Racist Origins of Our Profession
Laura and Charles, Darlene and Steve wrote a letter in support of the NASW movement. They say social workers need to start talking about their own profession's racist origins. The child welfare system causes immeasurable harm to black children and families but we've been unable as a profession to do anything about it. Laura: "We really need to start looking critically at ourselves and what we do in our own systems of care"
