Healthcare Disparities in Young Black Stroke Patients

This chapter addresses the concerning trend of higher polymorbidity rates in young Black stroke patients relative to their white and Hispanic peers. It explores the influence of environmental and social factors on health outcomes and advocates for necessary policy changes to improve care and address social determinants of health.
