Can Proton Pump Inhibitors Work for Other Infections?
Lally Rama Krishnan from the University of Cambridge has found a way to clog up bacteria's pumps. This means that when drugs are thrown at them, they can't get out and detonate inside their cells. She says it could be used for other hard-to-treat infections such as TB. Lally: "We would very much like to try that as our next goal"
