The US Copyright Office Denies Copyright Protection for AI Content

US Copyright Office denies copyright protection for works generated by AI. Decision was prompted by a comic called Zarya of the Dawn, which featured original writing and visual art generated by AI program mid-journey. In essence, any content produced by AI programs will not be eligible for government protection with regards to rights, licensing or payment. The Copyright Office went as far as to say it will not allow for copyright registrations moving forward so you can't even apply for them.
