Working Hard Can Be Coercive
When you're personally in control of your life entirely, as someone like Jocko is, he doesn't have to get up at 4.30 every morning, but he does. I think this is what the Jocko Willing style people of the world are all about. So moral duty to work hard, I think moral duty to find what's fun and then pursue that as far as possible. And if that's working hard, then I'm with Popper. It'd just be interesting to ask Popper what he really meant.
