Creative work requires that you don't put as many constraints on it, and that you really allow yourself to give your full attention. When i need to get something creative done, i want nothing else on my calendar for the day. So if i have an article to write, it means that sometimes i might start working right away but won't pick my head up until three or four in the afternoon. Creative work also often spans days. A lot of times there is something that i'm going to be writing about, and I can feel it percolate into my topic of interest so that whenever i'm reading a new blog post , i start to dive into that topic. Ah
