We don't even need a room of one's own. You need a, you know, a little chair in the library. The whole system is geared to always look to technology to promote our own human advancement and enhancement. But it's not going to help the economy if we can do without the technology. Because it's on a rigged system. Exactly. Thinking which requires solitude is entirely unmarketable. There is no immediate result. It's a lifelong process of learning and practicing solitude. Whereas loneliness, loneliness is a huge market for loneliness. Capitalism loves loneliness because it atomizes the individual and therefore makes the individual all-more targetable.
