With agent banking, a financial institution can hire an individual or a retailer to provide financial services on their behalf. Unlike bank branches and ATMs, you can deploy an agent within about a day. In Nigeria, we estimate that over this past three years we've deployed about 850,000 of these agents. But the problem persists.
