The Mind Muscle Connection in Hypertrophy?

i'm not necessarily fully convinced that the mind muscle connection is necessarily that important in terms of training adaptations. But at the very least, if you're working with a client who is clearly frustrated with their lack of ability to find the mind Muscle connection, using this idea of an external focus can be a really nice way to alleviate that concern. An internal attentional focus often results in higher e m g of the muscle being assessed than an external attentional focus does. And so you might look at that and say, oh, well, this might be indicative of greater muscle activation. Therefore, maybe we should predict that an internal Attentional Focus will lead to more muscle growth.
