The Impact of the Flooding on Food Prices
Last year we saw a wave of protectionist trade measures introduced by a number of countries in response to food price spikes and concerns about restricted global supply. So what can other countries do to protect against global and food insecurity, particularly in the most vulnerable nations when there is an aggressor like this? I mean, one of the key things is to maintain a commitment to open trade. How many months do you think it will take before we get a sense of how this explosion has impacted global food prices and global food availability?
