The idea that the US shouldn't have any guardrails against essentially, you know, banana republic chaos is a bit. Well, of course, we have an entire racial preference regime right now, which makes it even crazier in many cases. We've sort of gone from a no Irish need apply early 20th century thing to an almost immigrant preference system in many Cases. It's culturally and nationally suicidal. So I don't really know what more to say than that.
