There are analogies with just taste in terms of the consuming of food as well, right? It has to do with how you weigh sophistication and richness as being a metric of ordering. Children's books can be quite pleasing, maybe just as pleasing as a complicated novel. But one of those options is going to invite far more of our rational contemplative or however you want to put it engagement than the other.
