The North East Blackout
The two thousand and three north east black out was initiated by a tiny, softwore bug in the computers of an energy company in suburban ohio. This bug froze first energy's alarms control system for over an hour. First energy dismissed a call from american electric power regarding down 300 forty five killovalt power line. That line turned out to have overheated from an excess of demand, causing it to sag into a group of untrimmed trees and shutting it down entirely. Its electricity then had to be distributed to other lines, which shut down in turn, as the problem webbed out from suburban ohIO. Connected yet independently run systems around the northeast experienced the fall out
