The US Economic Ideology - Disparity
The United States by the early 20th century many things have become very clear to American policy making elites number one that it had finished all the internal colonization. The world was already divided up into massive empires powerful empires and what's more nationalism was also emerging so it became very clear that because you know these guys they wanted the United States to always continue expanding right expanding its influence. So basically they decided that since they couldn't acquire an empire it was impossible but of course the capacities have been declining ever more quickly.
