When you think about long term obedience, our very first example given to us is jesus. He took the humble position of a servant and was born as a human being. When he appeared in human form, he humbled him self in obedience. We can't even imagine what he gave up. People who have near death experiences say it's so far beyond what they ever could have imagined.
