The Jewish Catechism Is the Three Pillars

The three pillars of Jewish teaching are Torah, the Word of God, Avodah, which is worship. And then third is Gemeluchasadim, which is works of mercy. So in a sense, you could say the Jewish catechism would be those three things. Almsgiving and works of mercy are such an important part of Jewish practice of charity and of piety.
