Roman Holiday - Is She a Dancer?
Can you tell that she's a dancer when you watch her on screen, apart from when she's dancing, of course? I mean, absolutely. Especially if you see something like Funny Face, which had that fabulous sequence of her in sort of jazz cake. Her way of expressing her autonomy and her independence to further stairs is actually brushed into dance. And the idea of movement is also important when we think about how so many of her movies are about her character's identity or physical transformation.
