Normal Thermic Regional Perfusion: What Is It and Why Is It Important?

There's a protocol called normal thermic regional perfusion or NRP for short. It has to do with organ donation after cardiac death. The Uniform Law Commission said, you know, changing cardiopulmonary death from irreversible to permanent is not the right thing to do. And then another part of it that's particularly troublesome is that it requires you to actually clamp off or include the blood flow to the brain so that you ensure that the brain doesn't get life saving oxygen.
