Tol: Art is a human act of making things better. But change always has tension that goes with it. In between you the person you're creating for, the tension of i'm not sure i want to go there. All those pieces heighten our senses, and it is part of the deal. I've given people tours of contemporary art museums ever since my mam taught me when i was 13. You real can't look at more than a dozen paintings on a visit to a contemporary art museum,. cause if it's going to work, it's going to workingcause it changed you.
