The Influence of Walter Rodney on African History
I feel like Rodney was very much kind of participating in a conversation that is less so a big conversation now, but was then which is kind of a discourse on national liberation Marxism. And I think there's also in his thought there's so many vectors that kind of crossover with other conversations too. Robin you just mentioned his time at Daris Alam, kind of the influence of maybe an emerging world systems theory, or dependency theory from Latin America. We see a lot of traces of that in for example how Europe underdeveloped Africa in terms of its method.
