Many people in their fifties that i've known who are interested in finding a life partner, for whatever reason, they're heterosexual. There's a big asymmetry there in terms of the number of buyers and the number of sellers. The amount of individual skilfulness you need in those small population situations only goes up. It is so much easier for a white, sgender, heterosexual guy in their early twenties to find a life partner than it is for somebody who does not check all those boxes.
