The term globe warming was coined in 19 75 by wally brooker. People were more worried about heating and thought that that was the thing, but cooling stuffso stuck around. There was also a lot of concern in the eighties about ar nicola winter, and about whether niclar weapons could create a new kind of ice age. It's just interesting that these problems also can have got mixed together with other environmental things around pollution more generally.
