The Importance of Data Science in the Organization
I think sometimes what happens is if there isn't this tight collaboration or the potential value is not certain and unknown, then data teams will say, well, we have this data. No doubt I want to play with lots of different data sources. Those have become sort of the features that might feed my models. We know that having subject matter experts asking questions many times leads us to potential ML features. So there's no doubt we want to empower the front lines.
