The Evolution of Natural Theology

The idea that you look at life and you see design was something that was almost universally accepted by the early church fathers. But with evolution, that shifted dramatically. So it was very much going back to the cretius. The perspective was that natural theology is passe. It's been overturned. And what's happened is scientific advancements over the last several decades are returning science to a teleological perspective.
