Is There a Difference Between Lonely and Unknown?

I think that we always are oscillating in our aloneness between alone and lonely. The fact that you were in the most isolated state, I think humanly possible, and that you felt less lonely is fascinating to me. When you actually manage to pass that threshold, so this feeling of being uncomfortable or bored or frightened by own aloneness then it feels rich and like walking through Antarctica. As Emily Dickinson brought in a problem, your brain is wider than the sky.
