The Petrograd Soviet Is Getting Stronger and Stronger
Thousands of soldiers have deserted by this time as well. Millions are deserting, sometimes temporarily, sometimes permanently. They've gone home now schooled in the arts of war. And they've either gone back to the factory or they've gone back to their land owners land. All of those very Western ideals, those democratic ideals really come in and bite what is a war torn nation trying for order.
